Il centro culturale è concepito come due elementi solidi, il Centro d'Arte e l'Auditorium, collegati tra loro da spazi pubblici completamente vetrati che relazionano la città con le attività che al loro interno si svolgono.
L'Auditorium diventa un grosso strumento musicale progettato per enfatizzare la qualità del suono, mentre il centro d'arte, anche se completamente in stile contemporaneo, è un edificio a basso impatto che si integra con il nuovo masterplan in modo discreto ma eccitante.
The new Volgograd Cultural Centre grows out of the site and is conceived as two solid elements, the Arts Centre and the Auditorium, connected by fully glazed public spaces, from which the views of the city are exploited and into which the activities of the centre can be seen when approaching the building.
The Auditorium becomes a musical instrument designed to emphasize the sound quality while the art centre, although thoroughly contemporary in style, it is a low impact building contributing to the townscape in a discrete yet exciting way, integrating sympathetically with new masterplan.
